Manifestation Helped My Business

Well, hello there!

I have not written a blog post on my business page in FOREVER! I am sorry, but I have been super busy creating content on my @hawthornhomemaker Instagram page. Well, that and I am actually running my business and homeschooling full-time. Not the "virtual" homeschooling that a lot of county school students are doing. I am doing full parent-led traditional homeschooling. Not that it is any easier or any more difficult. All of us parents are just trying to do the best we can for our children.

But, I have had a super exciting few weeks in my business, and we are growing. I am so excited to see how the Lord blesses us in these next few months. I had not put much effort into marketing or finding new customers for the last four months. I was handling my existing maintenance customers, and that was pretty much it. I did have several business websites I built, but they were all ones that had been in the works since 2020. So those weren't necessarily new. I was definitely still "running" my business, but I wasn't doing the best that I could to grow my brand.

Fast forward to 16 days ago! Yes, I know the exact date. It was the date I said yes to help my friend launch her new course. I am going to be real honest and transparent with you. I honestly just bought the course to support my friend. I had no idea what it was about and always had thought, "that stuff wasn't for me." But I wanted to support my friend, so I joined in. Let me tell you what. I was dead wrong. That course has been the best motivator for me. Not only in my business but also in my personal life too.

The course I am talking about is by the fabulous Kimberly Lopez (@kimberlys_expeditions @minimal_manifestations). She has been one of my friends since we were little kids in church together. We both have gone our separate ways but always kept up with each other on social media. She started a blog a few years ago, and I always kept up with her fun adventures. Then she launched her first book, Travel & Manifestation, and I was so excited for her. In February, I bought that e-book; she launched her second e-book, Sustainability: A Beginners Guide. It wasn't much longer that she announced she was launching her first course, the Manifestation Basics Course.

This Manifestation Basics Course has changed my days and my outlook. I have written down business goals and manifestations for the month and the year. I have a new drive each morning to put aligned action into each of these goals. I have been meditating each day to help me realign and refocus, and it has drawn me so much closer to God. If there is one thing I want in my business, it's God as the Co-Founder and my CEO, with the Holy Spirit following in as my COO (Chief Operating Officer).

I am so excited to share with you some new things that are coming to our brand and some of my business goals. I am excited for this new road ahead, and I can't wait for us to walk through this together.
